Steve Evans will be confirmed as Leeds United’s next head coach after the sacking of Uwe Rosler last night.

Rosler 12-game reign at Elland Road ended in the wake of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Brighton, United’s third successive loss and a result which dropped the club to 18th in the Championship.

The 46-year-old, who took charge as head coach in May, will be replaced by Evans less than a month after Evans left his previous job as manager of Rotherham United.
