LOVE IS IN THE SCARE YORKSHIRE SCARE GROUNDS

Valentines Fear Masters present their ‘3 Blood Curdling Scare Attraction’, which runs for three nights and comprises a walk in near total darkness (glow stick anyone?) to an abandoned cabin in the woods, a chance to ‘check in’ at Hotel Transylvania and a simulated zombie attack. Who said romance was dead?

Details: Feb 16-18, Yorkshire Scare Grounds, Hell Lane, off Black Road, Wakefield, WF1 5SG, tickets are £15 and places are limited, so pre-booking is essential, maximum group size is six people, email: [email protected] or call 01924 899109.

FINE DINING, VICE & VIRTUE

There’s nothing like posh nosh to put you in the mood for love. Vice & Virtue might be the perfect match, offering an array of fine-dining tasting menus. But you might have to be quick, because there are only a few tables left. On offer will be the ‘3-2-3 informal fine dining concept’ in the cocktail lounge. It’s a sharing tasting menu, incredibly good value and far less formal than the experience one would get upstairs.

Details: Open 5pm-3am Wednesday to Sunday , 68 New Briggate , Leeds, LS1 6NU, website: www.viceandvirtueleeds.co.uk or tel: 0113 345 0202.

LEARN FLAMENCO, YORKSHIRE DANCE

Flamenco has become increasingly popular with its exciting rhythms and movement. It is usually performed without a partner and is a disciplined dance form. All sessions will allow you to become familiar with dance form and style, and will provide ample scope to express yourself.

Beginners £85/intermediate & advanced £126 per term. Classes run Wednesdays at Yorkshire Dance, St Peter’s Square Leeds, LS9 8AH.
