Marcelo Bielsa's side were left frustrated in LS11 but finally broke the deadlock on the hour as Hernandez slid past his man following a blocked shot to prod home into the top corner and secure all three points. Here's how we rated the performance...
7. Mateusz Klich
8 - Snapped at heels, kept Jonathan Swift quiet, made good runs, was clever in possession.
8. Pablo Hernandez
8 - Magic was needed and inspiration, once Phillips went off, and he delivered it. Wonderful footwork and finish. Played some great football too.
9. Jack Harrison
7 - Influential in the first half, put good balls into the area, quieter in the second half but was sharing the flank with a second winger, in effect, with Alioski.
10. Helder Costa
7 - Showed some incredible skill and the pace we're used to seeing regularly, without a telling final ball.
11. Patrick Bamford
5 - One of those days when nothing went his way. Never stopped working but this performance will be remembered for half chances he couldn't turn into good ones.
12. Gjanni Alioski (sub)
7 - Plenty of effort, gave Leeds a very potent look down the left. Couldn't quite get the jump on his markers for two good crosses that came his way.
