Leeds United know they need to add to Daniel Farke’s squad this summer if they are to win promotion at the second time of asking. The Whites won’t be able to spend as much as they would ideally have liked this summer but Paraag Marathe revealed earlier this summer that they have the resources to do what they want to do.
Unfortunately, Leeds may also be forced into selling a key man or two, with the likes of Crysencio Summerville, Wilfried Gnonto and Archie Gray beginning to attract lots of interest. Whatever happens, though, attacking reinforcements are likely to feature highly on the Whites’ summer shopping list with Jaidon Anthony one man who will already need replacing.
With that in mind, here’s a look at some of the attacking options who Leeds could sign on a free this summer.

1. Oliver McBurnie
McBurnie has been offered reduced terms to stay at Sheffield United but as things stand that deal remains unsigned. The striker was born in Leeds and was on the Whites' books as a youngster before moving on to join Bradford City. He scored six Premier League goals last season, but the 13 he bagged in the Championship the season before for the Blades should be noted. | Getty Images

2. Callum O'Hare
Leeds have been linked with a move for O'Hare who is coming to the end of his time with Coventry City. He's been with the Sky Blues since joining from Aston Villa on an initial loan in 2019 and he has made 142 appearances for the club. However, he'll be looking to take the next step in his career this summer and Leeds could offer him that opportunity. | Getty Images

3. Ryan Sessegnon
As much an attacking option as he is a full-back option. Sessegnon is leaving Tottenham Hotspur and he'll be looking for somewhere to get his career back on track with injury restricting him to just one appearance last season. He has the ability to light up games on the flank when he's firing on all cylinders and the drop down to the Championship could be just what he needs. | AFP via Getty Images
4. Bobby Decordova-Reid
The winger is said to be keen to stay in the Premier League but while he's still available, he remains an option for Leeds. The Fulham man is currently away at the Copa America with Jamaica and his future is expected to come into focus after the tournament. | AFP via Getty Images

5. Daniel Jebbison
Leeds have been linked with a move for Jebbison who made just one appearance for the Blades in the Premier League last season due to injury. The 20-year-old is highly rated and has been offered a deal to stay at Bramall Lane, but that remains unsigned. As such, Leeds could pounce to bag the England U20 international for nothing this summer. | Getty Images
6. Divin Mubama
Mubama hasn't signed a new deal with West Ham United and while he is highly rated he looks set to leave the club for nothing this summer. The 19-year-old is an England U20 international and made 12 appearances for the Hammers last season. The centre-forward's only senior goal to date came in West Ham's successful Conference League campaign in 2022-23. | Getty Images
