Leeds United have made an unbeaten start to their second season back in the Premier League - and a new supercomputer has saluted the Whites in its predicted final table and points.
Leeds went into Sunday’s hosting of Crystal Palace knowing that a win would send them third and just one point behind Arsenal but the visit of the Eagles ended in a goalless draw which left Leeds fifth after five games played.
United sealed a 14th-placed finish on last season’s first year back in the Premier League but the early signs suggest that United could be looking at something much better this time around.
As the Premier League pauses for the three week international break, a new AI supercomputer has predicted this season’s final table, taking into account each team's first five results.
The study by Tipman Tips fed an AI supercomputer information about each Premier League team and instructed it to simulate the season, taking into account the first five rounds of fixtures to predict how the Premier League table will look at the season’s end.
AI also predicted the top goalscorer for each team, along with the manager most at risk of being sacked.
The study used Claude Pro’s Fable 5.1 to predict the final league table for the 2026/27 Premier League season. Prompts using managerial rumours and each teams start to the season were used for the AI model to determine a final result
When it comes to managers whose jobs are most at risk, Roberto Di Zerbi was ranked as the most vulnerable in the Premier League, with Alvaro Arbeloa and Michael Carrick ranking second and third respectively.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin was not surprisingly predicted to be Leeds United’s top scorer - with 14 goals - but where did the supercomputer have Leeds finishing in the predicted final table itself. Saluting United’s start, here is the full rundown from top to bottom.
