Leeds United have enjoyed an excellent start to the Premier League season with five games and no defeats heading into the international break. Daniel Farke’s side were disappointed to draw 0-0 at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday but that point took them up to fifth in the table.
The Whites weren’t at their best on Sunday but a second Premier League clean sheet ensured they at least kept a point at Elland Road. That strong defensive record has been crucial to Leeds’ early-season success too, with three goals conceded the joint-lowest across the division.
It will therefore come as no surprise to learn a Leeds defender has made it into WhoScored’s Premier League Team of the Season so far, based on average ratings across the first five games. Take a look below to see who joins top performers from Everton, Hull City and Newcastle United.
