Injury forces change as Leeds Rhinos 21-man squad named for home game v Leigh Leopards
Coach Brad Arthur has made one change to Leeds Rhinos’ 21-man squad for Thursday’s visit of Leigh Leopards.
Winger Alfie Edgell has a quad muscle injury and drops out from the team which won 24-22 at Wakefield Trinity last Friday. He is replaced in the initial group by centre Ned McCormack. McCormack, who will leave Rhinos when his contract expires this autumn, made his first Betfred Super League appearance of the season against Toulouse Olympique two weeks ago, but missed the derby at Wakefield because of concussion.
Edgell’s absence could open the door for Ryan Hall’s return. He was named in last week’s 21, but hasn’t played since suffering a foot injury in Rhinos’ Magic Weekend win against Bradford Bulls on July 5.

Winger Maika Sivo (broken arm), hooker Danny Levi (neck) and prop Keenan Palasia (foot) remain on Rhinos’ casualty list.
Rhinos’ 21 is: Lachie Miller, Harry Newman, Ash Handley, Ryan Hall, Brodie Croft, Jake Connor, Mikolaj Oledzki, Jarrod O’Connor, Tom Holroyd, Kallum Watkins, James McDonnell, Chris Hankinson, Cooper Jenkins, Cameron Smith, Presley Cassell, Riley Lumb, Ned McCormack, Tom Nicholson-Watton, Fergie McCormack, Zak Lloyd, Jack Bird.
